Chicken with Tzatziki in Lavash
Ingredients
- English cucumber 1 piece
- Natural Yogurt 5 oz
- Meyer Lemon Juice ¼ teaspoon
- Fresh Mint 1 tablespoon
- Chicken fillet 4 pieces
- Paprika a pinch
- Armenian Lavash 4 pieces
- Banana Leaves 4 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel the cucumber, remove the seeds, and grate half of it. Sprinkle with 0.5 teaspoon of salt and let it sit for 10 minutes. Then drain the cucumber juice and mix the pulp with yogurt, lemon juice, and chopped mint. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 2
Lightly pound the chicken fillets, season with salt, and sprinkle with paprika. Preheat the grill and cook the meat for 5–7 minutes on each side until done.
Step 3
Lay out the lavash and place one lettuce leaf on each. Spread a quarter of the tzatziki on each, then add the cucumber cut into strips, followed by a piece of chicken fillet. Roll it up, closing only one end. Before serving, wrap in parchment paper.
