Description
Chicken strips can be taken along to a picnic as a light snack, served with the sauce and sliced celery sticks and carrot sticks.
Ingredients
- Buttermilk ½ cup
- TABASCO® ½ teaspoon
- Wheat Flour ½ cup
- Paprika ½ teaspoon
- Red Long Chili Peppers ½ teaspoon
- Ground Black Pepper ¾ teaspoon
- Salt ½ teaspoon
- Chicken fillet 15 oz
- Vegetable Oil 3 tablespoons
- Mayonnaise 0 oz
- Blue Cheese 0 oz
- Red Wine Vinegar 1 tablespoon
- Ginger-Garlic Paste 1 teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a small bowl, mix the buttermilk with the TABASCO sauce. In a plate, combine the flour, paprika, ground red pepper, 0.5 teaspoons of black pepper, and 0.25 teaspoons of salt. Cut the chicken into thin strips. Dredge first in the buttermilk, then in the flour mixture.
Step 2
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and fry for about 5 minutes until cooked through and golden brown. Transfer to a plate and keep warm.
Step 3
While the chicken is cooking, in a bowl, mix the mayonnaise, crumbled blue cheese, vinegar, and garlic. Serve the sauce alongside the chicken.
