Chicken pâté with carrots and onions
Ingredients
- Chicken Liver 15 oz
- Onion 1 piece
- Carrot 5 oz
- Butter 0 oz
- Salt to taste
- Herbs to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Clean and chop the liver beforehand.
Step 2
Place the liver in a pan without oil and simmer in its own juices for 25 minutes, adding the carrot and half of the onion.
Step 3
Add salt, pepper, and herbs to taste. Simmer for about 10–15 minutes.
Step 4
Cool the liver and blend it in a blender, adding the remaining half of the onion and butter.
Step 5
Transfer the mixture to ramekins and bake in the oven for 10–15 minutes.
