Ingredients

  • Chicken Liver 10 oz
  • Sugar 2 tablespoons
  • Apple 1½ pieces
  • Ginger 0 oz
  • Red Wine Vinegar to taste
  • Vegetable Oil 1 tablespoon
  • Apple Wine 5 fl oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Sauté the chicken liver in hot vegetable oil with salt and pepper.

Step 2

Peel the apples and remove the seeds, slice them, and sauté in vegetable oil. Add sugar and finely chopped ginger to the apples. When the sugar starts to caramelize, add the wine and simmer the apples for 10-15 minutes.

Step 3

Add the liver to the pan with the apples. Drizzle with wine vinegar.
