Ingredients
- Chicken Liver 0 lbs
- Onion 1 head
- Carrot 1 piece
- Cream 5 fl oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Salt to taste
- Vegetable Oil 4 spoons
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Marjoram to taste
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Clean the chicken liver and sauté it in vegetable oil.
Step 2
Finely chop the onion and carrot, and sauté them in vegetable oil. At the end of the frying, add marjoram, salt, and pepper. Then add the sautéed liver, cream, and simmer over low heat.
Step 3
Cool the stewed mixture and blend it in a blender, adding softened butter, minced garlic, and grated cheese.
Step 4
Transfer the resulting pâté to a baking dish and bake in the oven for 30 minutes at 300°F.
