Chicken, Cilantro, and Peanut Butter Appetizer

Ingredients

  • Pita 2 pieces
  • Cilantro 0 oz
  • Vegetable Oil 2 tablespoons
  • Peanut Butter 0 oz
  • Meyer Lemon Juice 3 tablespoons
  • Water 3 tablespoons
  • Grated Ginger Root 1 tablespoon
  • TABASCO® ½ teaspoon
  • Salt ¼ teaspoon
  • "Petelinka Thigh Fillet" 10 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Boil the chicken fillet in boiling water until cooked and cut into small cubes. Transfer to a bowl.

Step 2

Preheat the oven to 390°F.

Step 3

Cut each pita into 8 triangles. Brush the inner sides of the triangles with vegetable oil and place in the oven for 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy.

Step 4

In a blender, combine the peanut butter, cilantro, Tabasco, lemon juice, water, ginger, salt, and the remaining vegetable oil. Add the peanut mixture to the chicken and mix well. Season with salt to taste. Spread the mixture on the crispy triangles and garnish with cilantro leaves.
