- Brandy 5 fl oz
- Water 5 fl oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Ground dried cherries 10 oz
- Chopped almonds 5 oz
- Orange zest 2 tablespoons

Step 1
In a saucepan, add the brandy, water, and sugar, and heat until the sugar dissolves over medium heat. Bring to a boil and add the cherries. Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for 5 minutes until the cherries are soft.
Step 2
Add the pecans and orange zest. Season with salt and transfer to a bowl. Cool. Serve with roasted duck or ham.
