Step 1

Use stale bread — if you happen to find freshly baked bread in the bakery in the morning, you should cut it open and let it dry out. After this process, cut the loaf into cubes measuring three centimeters on each side.

Spread a small amount of butter on each piece and top with a slice of cheese.

Then, simply sprinkle caraway seeds over the bread with one or two quick movements; that will be sufficient. You can use cumin instead of caraway, but it has a sharper flavor.
