
Cheese Omelette in Lavash

Description
Just avoid using sharp, overly sweet cheeses like Maasdam — it's better not to heat them. Use something neutral, like Gouda or mozzarella, or you can opt for Parmesan.
Ingredients
- Armenian Lavash 1 piece
- Cheese Spread 5 oz
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Salt to taste
- Spices to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the lavash into crosswise strips.
Step 2
Slice the cheese into pieces no wider than the strips of lavash, so that it can be wrapped around twice.
Step 3
Beat the eggs with a fork and add a pinch of salt (you can also include a dash of your favorite spices).
Step 4
Wrap each slice of cheese in a strip of lavash, dip it in egg, and fry for 3–5 minutes on each side in a skillet with oil. They cook very quickly.
Step 5
Arrange the finished dishes on a platter and serve immediately.
