
Cheese Fondue with Vegetables

Description
Vegetables for classic cheese fondue can be served fresh or baked/grilled.
Ingredients
- Gruyère cheese 15 oz
- Ground Dried Garlic 1 teaspoon
- Wheat Flour 3 teaspoons
- Dry White Wine 1¾ cups
- Nutmeg ¼ teaspoon
- Brussels Sprouts to taste
- Cauliflower to taste
- Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
- Sourdough Bread to taste
- Marinated cherries 0 oz
- Carrot to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
For the cheese sauce, it's better to use a pot with a thick bottom (prevents burning, easy to clean).
Step 2
Mix the cheese with the flour. Rub the inside of the pot with garlic. Place on medium heat and add the wine. Before the wine boils, add the cheese. Then add the nutmeg. Reduce the heat to low and stir until the cheese melts and starts bubbling. Transfer the mixture to a fondue pot. Stir occasionally.
