Cheese Canapés
Ingredients
- Sourdough Bread 5 oz
- Melted Cheese 5 oz
- Courgette 1 piece
- Marinated cherries 12 pieces
- Orange Bell Peppers 0 lbs
- Olive Oil 4 tablespoons
- Garlic 1 clove
- Scallions 5 stalks
- Mild Chili Spice 0 oz
- Cilantro 6 stalks
- Mint Leaves 6 pieces
- Lemon 2 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare the marinade: Finely chop the herbs, chili, and garlic. Zest the lemons and add the zest to a bowl with the chopped herbs and vegetables. Squeeze the juice of 1 lemon into the bowl. Add 3 tablespoons of olive oil. Mix well.
Step 2
Cut the mozzarella into large cubes (about 1.5-2 cm on each side). Place in the marinade, gently mix, and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Step 3
Cut the bread into cubes, 12 pieces.
Step 4
Try to cut the pepper into flat cubes, 12 pieces.
Step 5
Use a vegetable peeler (or cheese slicer) to cut the zucchini into thin slices, 12 pieces.
Step 6
Take long skewers or wooden sticks for kebabs. Alternate threading the vegetables: pepper, bread (previously dipped in the marinade), fold the zucchini like an accordion and thread it, mozzarella cube (carefully remove it from the marinade), and finish with a cherry tomato.
Step 7
Place the canapés on a grill rack or baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil or brush with a culinary brush dipped in oil.
Step 8
Bake at 180°C (356°F) for 6-8 minutes.
Step 9
Serve hot with bread and salads.
