Cheese and ham flatbreads
Ingredients
- Kefir 1 glass
- Salt ½ spoons
- Sugar ½ spoons
- Activated Baking Soda ½ spoons
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 1 glass
- Wheat Flour 2 glasses
- Vegetable Oil to taste
- Ham 10 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare the dough: mix kefir, salt, sugar, and baking soda together and stir well. Then add grated cheese and flour. Knead the dough until it becomes very soft and tender.
Step 2
Divide the dough into 5 equal balls. Roll each ball out, place grated ham on top, and pinch the edges together (bringing all corners to the center). Flip the dough round and roll it out with a rolling pin to evenly distribute the filling.
Step 3
Fry in vegetable oil in a skillet on both sides until golden brown.
