Chard, Beet, and Bacon Appetizer
Ingredients
- Chard 1 bunch
- Bacon 3 pieces
- Onion 1 head
- Red Wine Vinegar 3 tablespoons
- Yellow Beets 15 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Fry the bacon in a well-heated skillet over medium heat until crispy. Transfer to a paper towel and cut into pieces.
Step 2
In the same skillet, add finely chopped onion and sauté until soft for 5 minutes. Add the chopped chard and cook until tender, stirring, for 6 minutes. Add the vinegar and cook for another minute. Remove from heat and add the bacon and julienned beet. Season with salt and pepper, mix well, and serve.
