Description
Cevapi is a Serbian kebab. It is a must to serve it in pita bread and with a creamy sauce.
Ingredients
- Lean Beef 15 oz
- Pork Mince 15 oz
- Onion 5 oz
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Paprika 1½ spoons
- Ground Black Pepper 1½ spoons
- Salt 1½ spoons
- Activated Baking Soda ¾ spoons
- Pita 4 pieces
- Kaymak 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare the necessary ingredients.
Step 2
Chop the onion.
Step 3
Chop the garlic.
Step 4
Add them to the minced meat.
Step 5
Add paprika and baking soda.
Step 6
Add salt and pepper.
Step 7
Mix all the ingredients by hand.
Step 8
Roll the minced meat into small sausages, about 6-7 cm long.
Step 9
Grill or pan-sear on all sides until golden brown.
Step 10
Place the cooked cevapcici in pita bread. Serve with kaymak.
