Cauliflower with Lemon and Olives
Ingredients
- Lemon 2 pieces
- Cauliflower 1 head
- Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
- Shallot 1 head
- Water 1 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
- Chopped Sage Leaves 1 teaspoon
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Pitted olives 2 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Break the cauliflower into small florets and steam until tender, about 4 minutes.
Step 2
Meanwhile, peel the lemons and remove the pith, then carefully cut the segments into a bowl using a sharp knife. Chop the segments lightly. Squeeze 1 tablespoon of lemon juice from the remaining parts of the lemon into the bowl.
Step 3
Add the olive oil, chopped shallot, water, thyme, and finely chopped olives to the bowl. Season with salt and pepper, then add the cauliflower. Toss and serve.
