Cauliflower Purée with Cheese
Ingredients
- Butter 0 oz
- Cauliflower 1 piece
- Onion 1 head
- Cream 5 fl oz
- Nutmeg a pinch
- Cheshire Cheese 5 oz
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Divide the cauliflower into small florets. Boil for 6–8 minutes in salted water until the cauliflower is tender but not mushy.
Step 2
Melt the butter in a skillet and sauté the finely chopped onion for 4–5 minutes. Transfer to a blender, add the grated cheese and cream.
Step 3
Once the cauliflower is cooked, quickly rinse it and add it to the blender, then blend with the other ingredients. Serve on plates, sprinkle with crushed nutmeg, and enjoy.
