Cauliflower in Breadcrumbs
Ingredients
- Lemon 1 piece
- Cauliflower 5 lbs
- Milk 2 tablespoons
- Butter 5 oz
- White bread 0 oz
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Boil the cauliflower florets in salted water. Once it boils, add the milk and cook over moderate heat for about 20 minutes.
Step 2
In a saucepan, melt the butter. When the butter darkens, remove the saucepan from the heat and add the remaining lemon juice. Return to the stove and stir in the breadcrumbs, but do not let the sauce darken further.
Step 3
Pour the sauce over the cooked cauliflower.
