Ingredients

  • Carrot 1 piece
  • Cheese Spread 0 oz
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Water 0 qt
  • Salt to taste
  • Sour Cream 2 teaspoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Grate the cheese on a medium grater, mix it with sour cream (may be substituted with mayonnaise) and crushed garlic.

Step 2

Peel the carrot using a horizontal vegetable peeler. Cut it in half lengthwise. From the inner side of the carrot, use the peeler to cut long strips. Repeat this process with both halves until approximately equal strips are obtained.

Step 3

Boil water with salt. Cook the carrot strips for 1–2 minutes. Drain in a colander and rinse with cold water.

Step 4

On the wide side of the carrot strip, place a portion of the filling or spread it along the entire length. Roll it up. Optionally, secure with a toothpick.
