- Turnips 0 lbs
- Coarse Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step 1
Peel the carrots and cut them into small pieces. Transfer to a saucepan. Cover with water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and cook until soft, about 20 minutes. Drain, reserving the carrot water.
Step 2
Using a masher or blender, puree the carrots, adding the reserved water to achieve the desired consistency. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
