
Carrot Porridge with Mixed Grains and Prunes

Description
Prunes should be large. It's better to roast the nuts beforehand. The recipe does not include salt, but you can add it to taste.
Ingredients
- 7 Grain Flakes 5 oz
- Carrot ½ cup
- Pitted Wild Apricots 2 pieces
- Vanilla salt to taste
- Macadamia Nuts 4 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Soak the flakes and whole prunes in boiling water overnight in a thermos or a regular thick-walled mug. The water should cover the flakes and rise about a finger's width above them.
Step 2
In the morning, transfer the porridge to a heatproof bowl, add the carrot juice and vanilla sugar. Heat in the microwave.
Step 3
Serve on a flat plate, sprinkle with cashews. Serve with a tablespoon of soft cottage cheese.
