Carrot and Cheese Fritters
Ingredients
- Carrot 0 lbs
- Cheese 5 oz
- Wheat Flour 4 tablespoons
- Chicken Egg 3 pieces
- Onion 1 piece
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel the carrots and grate them on a fine grater using a food processor, finely chop a small onion, grate the cheese (Gouda), add the eggs, 3-4 tablespoons of any flour (I used chickpea flour), a little salt (the cheese is salty), and pepper.
Step 2
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, pour 3 tablespoons of oil, and evenly distribute it over the paper.
Step 3
Carefully place the fritters and put them in a preheated oven (200°C) with convection for about 20-25 minutes. In a regular oven, for 30-35 minutes.
Step 4
When they start to brown on top, flip them over. Bake until golden brown.
Step 5
Serve with sour cream mixed with spicy paprika.
