  • Pears 1 piece
  • Sugar 2 tablespoons
  • Butter 1 tablespoon
  • Ground Cinnamon a pinch
  • Chopped almonds 1 tablespoon
  • Rosemary a pinch
  • Paprika to taste
  • Danish Blue Cheese 2 tablespoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Peel the pears and cut them in half, removing the core.

Step 2

In a heated skillet, add a couple of tablespoons of sugar and a tablespoon of butter. Once the sugar dissolves, place the pears in the skillet and sauté them on both sides until golden brown.

Step 3

Transfer the pears to a plate, fill the core of each half with a teaspoon of cheese, and add some chopped walnuts. Sprinkle with a pinch of rosemary, cinnamon, and sweet paprika or red pepper.

Step 4

You can top it with the remaining caramel from the skillet.
