- Carrot 20 oz
- Water 0.3 cups
- Honey 1 tablespoon
- Butter 2 teaspoons
- Salt ¼ teaspoon
- Meyer Lemon Juice 1 tablespoon
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Chopped Sage Leaves 2 tablespoons

Step 1
In a deep skillet, place the peeled carrots and add water, honey, butter, and salt. Bring to a boil over high heat, slightly reduce the heat, cover with a lid, and cook for 5–7 minutes until tender.
Step 2
Remove the lid and cook for another 1–2 minutes, stirring, until the carrots are caramelized.
Step 3
Drizzle with lemon juice and generously sprinkle with black pepper. Then sprinkle with parsley and serve.
