Ingredients

  • Rye Bread 8 pieces
  • Gelatin 1 tablespoon
  • Semi-soft cream cheese 2 cans
  • Courgette 1 piece
  • Lightly Salted Red Fish 5 oz
  • Dill ½ bunch
  • Meyer Lemon Juice 3 tablespoons
  • 33% Cream 5 fl oz
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Peel the cucumber and remove the seeds, finely chop it, and chop the dill.

Step 2

Squeeze the juice from half a lemon, add 100 ml of warm water, and dissolve 1 tablespoon of instant gelatin in it, stirring until completely dissolved.

Step 3

In a bowl, blend the cream cheese, cream, cucumber, and dill using a blender, then add the dissolved gelatin. Blend again and place the mixture in the refrigerator.

Step 4

Cut the bread into any shape (I cut it round using a glass).

Step 5

Slice the fish into thin pieces.

Step 6

Spread the cheese cream on the bread circles, top with a slice of fish, and garnish with lemon zest and herbs.
