- Rye Bread 20 oz
- Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
- Marinated cherries 10 oz
- Honey 1 tablespoon
- Fresh basil leaves to taste
- Ricotta cheese 10 oz
- Spices to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Toast the slices of bread in a hot skillet on both sides. Place them on a plate. Spread ricotta cheese on each piece.
Step 2
Heat olive oil in the skillet and sauté the tomatoes. Add honey and simmer for another minute.
Step 3
Remove the mixture from heat and season with spices. Distribute it over the pieces of bread spread with cheese, and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
