Camembert Julien
Ingredients
- Camembert cheese 5 oz
- Pickled Chanterelles 5 oz
- Shallot 0 oz
- Garlic 0 oz
- Thyme 3 sprigs
- Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Ocean salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Chop the mushrooms into small pieces.
Step 2
Slice the shallot into half-rings.
Step 3
Add them to the heated oil in a pan.
Step 4
After 2–3 minutes, stir and reduce the heat to medium.
Step 5
Peel the garlic.
Step 6
Chop it finely.
Step 7
After 2 minutes, add the garlic to the mushrooms and onion.
Step 8
Season with salt and stir.
Step 9
After 1 minute, add the leaves from 2 sprigs of thyme. Season with pepper. Stir and remove from heat.
Step 10
Cut the Camembert into small cubes and combine with the mushrooms in a baking dish. Bake in a preheated oven at 355°F for 10 minutes.
Step 11
Let it cool slightly, garnish with a sprig of thyme, and serve.
