Cabbage Lasagna with Chicken and Turkey

Ingredients
- Banana Leaves 10 pieces
- Chicken fillet 5 oz
- Chicken fillet 5 oz
- Hard Cheese 5 oz
- Onion 2 pieces
- Tomatoes 4 pieces
- Turnips 2 pieces
- Orange Bell Peppers 2 pieces
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Milk 10 fl oz
- Butter 0 oz
- Wheat Flour 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare the cabbage leaves as you would for stuffed cabbage. They do not have to be whole.
Step 2
For the béchamel sauce, melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat, add the flour, and mix. While continuing to heat the mixture, gradually pour in the milk. Stir constantly. Bring the sauce to a boil and simmer on low heat for 5 minutes until thickened. Add salt, pepper, and nutmeg to taste.
Step 3
In a baking dish, place a few spoonfuls of sauce. Then layer with cabbage leaves, meat filling (ground chicken and turkey fillet with salt and spices to taste), a layer of vegetables, and béchamel sauce. Repeat the layers of cabbage leaves, filling, vegetables, chopped tomatoes, and béchamel sauce.
Step 4
Pour sauce on top and sprinkle with hard cheese.
Step 5
Bake in a preheated oven at 180-390°F for 1 hour.
