- Grated Ginger Root ½ spoons
- White Pepper (whole) ½ spoons
- Ground ancho chili pepper 1 piece
- Coarse Salt to taste
- Kala namak salt ½ spoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a skillet over medium heat, toast the mustard seeds, coriander seeds, and cumin seeds for three minutes, or until they start to pop.
Step 2
Then transfer them to a mortar and grind into a powder, then add to a blender. Add yogurt, mint leaves, cilantro, kala namak salt, ginger, white ground pepper, and seeded chili. Season with salt to taste and pour in a cup of cold water. Blend until smooth.
