Ingredients
- Buckwheat Groats 1 cup
- Chocolate eggs 5 pieces
- Milk 15 fl oz
- Butter 3 tablespoons
- Vanilla salt ½ teaspoon
- Sugar 3 tablespoons
- Citrus Zest Mix 1 tablespoon
- Light Raisins, Seedless 5 oz
- Jam to taste
- Powdered Sugar to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Sift the groats, mix with 1 egg, spread on a baking sheet, and dry in the oven, stirring occasionally.
Step 2
Bring the milk to a boil, add the butter, vanilla, stir in the groats, and cook on low heat.
Step 3
When the groats have absorbed all the milk, cover the pot and finish cooking the porridge in the preheated oven.
Step 4
Separate the egg whites from the yolks of the remaining eggs.
Step 5
Beat the yolks with sugar, add lemon zest, rinsed raisins, and the whipped egg whites.
Step 6
Add the resulting mixture to the porridge and stir.
Step 7
Transfer the prepared mixture to a baking dish or skillet and place in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.
Step 8
Before serving, you can sprinkle the porridge with powdered sugar and decorate it with cherry or blackcurrant jam.
