Ingredients
- Semi-Smoked Sausage 2 pieces
- Shallot 1 piece
- Brussels Sprouts 20 oz
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Dried cranberries with sugar 2 tablespoons
- Chopped almonds 2 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Clean the Brussels sprouts and cut each sprout into 4 pieces. Boil in boiling water for about 3 minutes, then drain.
Step 2
Heat a skillet over medium heat and fry the sliced bacon until golden brown. Transfer to a plate, leaving 1 tablespoon of fat in the skillet.
Step 3
Add the finely chopped shallot to the skillet and sauté until soft, about 3-5 minutes.
Step 4
Add the Brussels sprouts, season with salt and pepper, and sauté for about a minute.
Step 5
Remove from heat and add the bacon, cranberries, and pecans. Mix well.
