- Brussels Sprouts 20 oz
- Walnuts 2 tablespoons
- Shallot 1 head
- Dijon Mustard 1 tablespoon
- Meyer Lemon Juice 1 tablespoon
- Grated Lemon Zest ¼ teaspoon
- Salt ¼ teaspoon
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Trim the old leaves from the Brussels sprouts and cut each sprout into 4 pieces.
Step 2
Steam the sprouts for about 7–8 minutes until they are tender.
Step 3
Meanwhile, in a bowl, mix the walnut oil, chopped shallot, lemon zest, lemon juice, and mustard. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 4
Add the Brussels sprouts to the vinaigrette, toss, and serve.
