Bruschetta with Poached Egg
Ingredients
- Ciabatta 1 piece
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Butter 1 piece
- Dijon Mustard 1 teaspoon
- Mayonnaise 1 tablespoon
- Arugula 6 stems
- Toasted Sesame ½ teaspoon
- Mild Chili Spice to taste
- Ocean salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Toast the slice of bread in a dry hot skillet on both sides.
Step 2
Place a plastic bag in a cup and grease the inside with olive oil.
Step 3
Crack the egg inside the bag.
Step 4
Add a pinch of salt, then tie the bag.
Step 5
Place the bag in boiling water. After 3 minutes, transfer it to a plate and carefully (caution: hot!) remove the bag.
Step 6
Spread butter on the bread.
Step 7
Then add mustard.
Step 8
Next, add mayonnaise.
Step 9
Top with greens.
Step 10
Place the egg on top and make a cut in it to let the yolk flow out a bit.
Step 11
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and season with chili pepper; you can add more salt to taste.
