Ingredients
- Milk 10 fl oz
- Chicken Broth 5 qt
- Butter 1 tablespoon
- Chocolate eggs 4 pieces
- Parsley to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cook the meat or chicken broth, then prepare the omelet. To make the omelet, crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk them until the whites and yolks are well combined, add salt, and while continuing to whisk, pour in the cold milk or broth.
Step 2
Pour the resulting mixture into smooth portioned molds or into a skillet greased with butter, place it in another larger skillet with hot water, cover with a lid, and cook until the omelet thickens. The cooking time for the omelet in small molds is 10-15 minutes, while in a large skillet it takes 30-40 minutes. To achieve a smooth surface on the omelet, the water should be close to boiling but not boiling.
Step 3
Allow the finished omelet to cool slightly (10-15 minutes), then transfer it from the molds to plates with broth. The omelet made in the skillet should be cut into squares after being removed from it.
Step 4
When serving, it's good to add parsley leaves to the broth.
