Broccoli with cream and Parmesan
Ingredients
- Broccoli 1 piece
- 10% cream 10 fl oz
- Garlic 2 heads
- Nutmeg ¼ spoons
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese 3 spoons
- Ground Black Pepper ¼ spoons
- Meyer Lemon Juice ½ spoons
- Salt ¼ spoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Remove the stems from the broccoli and chop them. Cook in boiling salted water for 4–6 minutes, until the broccoli is tender. Then drain in a colander and rinse with cold water.
Step 2
In a small saucepan over low heat, bring the cream, crushed garlic, nutmeg, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and the same amount of pepper to a simmer.
Step 3
Add the broccoli and cook for another 2 minutes, stirring continuously to puree the broccoli.
Step 4
Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese and lemon juice.
