Brie Cheese with Cherries and Honey
Ingredients
- Butter 0 oz
- Brie cheese 5 oz
- Marinated cherries 6 pieces
- Red Grape Juice 5 fl oz
- Flaky sea salt a pinch
- Mixed Ground Peppers a pinch
- Honey 1 teaspoon
- Tarragon ½ sprig
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Grease a small baking dish with butter.
Step 2
Place the brie cheese in it and make shallow cuts.
Step 3
Chop the cherries into small pieces.
Step 4
Heat the red wine in a pan over medium heat.
Step 5
Add salt and pepper.
Step 6
Cover the brie cheese with foil and place it in a preheated oven at 355°F for 15 minutes.
Step 7
Warm the wine, stirring occasionally.
Step 8
As soon as the wine starts to simmer slightly, add the cherries. Simmer for another 3 minutes with the lid on.
Step 9
Remove the brie from the oven and place it on a heatproof stand.
Step 10
Pour the resulting sauce over it.
Step 11
Add honey.
Step 12
Garnish with a few tarragon leaves and serve.
