Description
Brie cheese with berry chutney
Ingredients
- Brie cheese 1 head
- Ground Black Pepper ½ teaspoon
- Olive Oil 2 teaspoons
- Frozen black currant puree 0 oz
- Erythritol 1 teaspoon
- Red Wine Vinegar 1 teaspoon
- Basil to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Place the brie cheese in a baking dish.
Step 2
Carefully cut the cheese in a grid pattern. It is important not to cut all the way through the brie. Sprinkle the cheese with ground black pepper.
Step 3
Drizzle the cheese with a teaspoon of olive oil.
Step 4
Put the cheese in the oven and bake for 15 minutes at 355°F.
Step 5
Heat 1 teaspoon of olive oil in a skillet over high heat and add the black currants.
Step 6
Add erythritol.
Step 7
Pour in 1 teaspoon of red wine vinegar.
Step 8
Add black pepper and red basil. Mix well.
Step 9
Reduce the heat, cover with a lid, and simmer for 5–7 minutes.
Step 10
Remove the baked brie cheese.
Step 11
Add the prepared chutney to the cheese.
Step 12
Let the cheese cool slightly for 2–5 minutes — and it's time to taste. Be careful: the cheese is very hot!
