Description

  • Apple 2 pieces
  • Red Currant 0 lbs
  • Raisins 5 oz
  • Champagne Vinegar 5 fl oz
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Melt the butter in a pot over medium heat.

Step 2

Slice the onion into thin half-rings. Peel the apples and remove the cores, then slice them thinly. Shred the cabbage finely.

Step 3

Sauté the onion in the melted butter for 3 minutes, then add the apples and cabbage. Sauté for 5 minutes until softened.

Step 4

Then add the raisins and vinegar.

Step 5

Cover with a lid and simmer on low heat for about an hour until the cabbage is tender.

Step 6

Season with salt and pepper, remove the lid, and cook for a little longer until all the liquid has evaporated.
