Description

You can use regular canned tomatoes, but in that case, I recommend removing the tough parts from each one. Feel free to experiment with adding various herbs, both fresh and dried. If you've added too many herbs, include more tomato paste and/or diced tomatoes. If desired, you can add a spoonful of sugar to the sauce.

Ingredients

  • Ground meat 30 oz
  • Baking Tomatoes 1½ l
  • Cheese Spread 15 oz
  • Passata Tomato Sauce 2 spoons
  • Onion 2 pieces
  • Garlic 3 cloves
  • Dried Barberry 1 tablespoon
  • Basil 1 bunch
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Mild Chili Spice ½ pieces
  • Ready-made dry lasagna sheets 3 pieces
  • Sour Cream 1 can
  • Olive Oil 3 spoons
  • Red Grape Juice 10 fl oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Finely chop the onion, remove the seeds from half of a hot pepper, and slice it into small rings.

Step 2

In a saucepan or a large stainless steel pot, heat the olive oil. Crush 2 cloves of garlic with a knife and sauté them in the oil until golden brown. Remove.

Step 3

Sauté the onion until translucent. It should not brown. Add the bell pepper to the onion and sauté for 7–8 minutes.

Step 4

Add the minced meat and sauté it until it is crumbly.

Step 5

While the minced meat is frying, place all the spices, chopped basil leaves, and finely chopped garlic clove on a separate plate.

Step 6

Once the meat mixture is ready, add red wine to the pot and simmer the mixture for 2–3 minutes, until the alcohol has evaporated.

Step 7

Add one and a half packs of tomatoes, tomato paste, and all the spices to the pot.

Step 8

Stirring well, simmer uncovered over medium heat for 20–25 minutes, stirring regularly.

Step 9

Preheat the oven to 355°F.

Step 10

Once the sauce is ready, ladle a layer onto the bottom of the dish. Place dry lasagna sheets on top of it. If the dish is an unusual shape, you can easily adjust the sheets to fit by making cuts with a knife in the necessary places, then breaking them.

Step 11

Pour another layer of sauce, then cover it with sheets of lasagna. Repeat this process 3 more times (depending on the height of the dish).

Step 12

Finally, layer the ground meat on top, pour a can of sour cream over it, and spread it evenly. Sprinkle everything with grated cheese.

Step 13

Place the dish in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.

Step 14

It's best to serve immediately after cooking.
