
Berry Sauce with Cranberries

Description
You can also make this sauce with lingonberries by replacing half of the cranberries with lingonberries.
Ingredients
- Cranberry 2 glasses
- Sugar 5 oz
- Star anise 1 piece
- Cinnamon 1 piece
- Ginger 0 oz
- Rum 0 fl oz
- Water 5 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan, place on the heat, and bring to a boil.
Step 2
Simmer the sauce for five minutes. Then remove the cinnamon and star anise.
Step 3
Purée the sauce and strain it through a sieve. You can skip this step if you prefer to feel the pieces of the berries.
