Ingredients
- Milk 10 fl oz
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Cream 5 fl oz
- Powdered Sugar 0 oz
- Dry yeast 1 teaspoon
- Butter 5 oz
- Farm fresh eggs 4 pieces
- Salt to taste
- Bacon 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Bring the milk and cream to a boil, but do not let it boil over.
Step 2
Melt the butter and combine it with the milk and cream mixture.
Step 3
Combine the flour with the sugar and yeast. Add the egg yolks and mix well. Pour in the cream mixture while stirring constantly. Knead the dough.
Step 4
Whip the egg whites with salt until foamy. Add to the dough and mix thoroughly.
Step 5
Preheat the waffle maker and pour the batter in a thin, even layer. Bake for 2 to 3 minutes.
Step 6
Fry the bacon in butter.
Step 7
Serve the waffles with bacon.
