Beets in Balsamic Glaze with Caraway

Ingredients

  • Yellow Beets 5 lbs
  • Honey 2 tablespoons
  • Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
  • Balsamic Vinegar 3 tablespoons
  • Ground Caraway 1 teaspoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Place the beets in a pot and cover with salted water. Cook until tender, about 35-45 minutes. Drain and cool. Peel the skin and cut into pieces lengthwise.

Step 2

In a large skillet, combine honey, oil, and vinegar. Then add the beets. Cook, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste, until the beets are well coated in the glaze. Sprinkle with half of the chopped caraway leaves and gently mix.

Step 3

Serve, garnished with the remaining caraway.
