Beef Stuffed Tacos

Ingredients

  • Salted Butter 3 tablespoons
  • Veal Tenderloin 0 lbs
  • Onion 1 head
  • Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
  • Ground Cumin 1 teaspoon
  • Ground Dried Garlic 1 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Potato 1 piece
  • Passata Tomato Sauce 3 tablespoons
  • Tortillas 12 pieces
  • Potato 1 piece
  • Iceberg Lettuce 1 piece

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Peel and chop the onion. Remove the core from the bell pepper, discard the seeds and white veins, and chop. Finely chop the beef.

Step 2

In a large skillet over high heat, heat 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil and sauté the beef for 6-8 minutes. Add the onion, bell pepper, cumin, and ground garlic. Season with salt and pepper and cook for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are soft.

Step 3

Then add the diced potato, tomato paste, and pour in 1.5 cups of water. Reduce the heat and simmer for 25-30 minutes until the liquid evaporates.

Step 4

Preheat the oven to 210°F. In a medium pot, pour in vegetable oil (about 7 cm deep). Heat the oil.

Step 5

Take a corn tortilla out of the package and immerse it in the hot oil. Using tongs, fold the tortilla so that the edges are about 5 cm apart. Fry for about 30 seconds to hold its shape and for another 2 minutes until the tortilla is blistered and crispy.

Step 6

Place the finished tortillas on paper towels to drain excess oil. Then keep them in the preheated oven. Repeat the same with the remaining tortillas.

Step 7

Chop the tomato and lettuce. Fill each tortilla with the filling, then add tomato and lettuce. Serve the tacos hot. Enjoy your meal!
