Appetizers • Russian
Description
It's essential to put your heart into it. P.S.: It's a very interesting sensation when you take a shot of cold vodka and immediately follow it with a hot toast. It's incredibly delicious. The aftertaste is stunning. After a while, the WARMTH spreads inside. And as long as it's inside, there's nothing to worry about...
Ingredients
- Beef hoof 70 oz
- Rye Bread 1 piece
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Green onion tops 1 piece
- Parsley 1 bunch
- Dill 1 bunch
- Vodka 35 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Take the beef shanks (hollow bones) and simmer them slowly for 2.5-3 hours.
Step 2
Carefully extract the bone marrow, collect it in a convenient container, and season with salt and pepper (to taste).
Step 3
In a hot skillet, pour in a little olive oil and sauté 2-3 crushed cloves of garlic.
Step 4
Next, toast the cut pieces of rye bread (the size of the future toast should be such that it fits in the mouth of an average person) on both sides, and before starting, it's advisable to create a small indentation on one side of the toast. Start toasting with the indentation side down, then flip it over.
Step 5
Place the bone marrow on the toasts (still in the skillet). Generously sprinkle with finely chopped herbs (onion, dill, parsley).
Step 6
Serve the appetizer hot.
