
Beans in Sauce

Description
The beans should be soft and infused with garlic sauce. An ideal side dish for poultry and a great addition to rice.
Ingredients
- Garlic 4 cloves
- Frozen green bean pods 10 oz
- Mayonnaise 5 oz
- Soy Sauce 5 fl oz
- Water 5 fl oz
- Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz
- Toasted Sesame 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Pour boiling water over the beans to thaw them.
Step 2
Finely chop the garlic cloves.
Step 3
For the sauce: mix the mayonnaise and soy sauce, then add the chopped garlic.
Step 4
Pour the vegetable oil into a saucepan. Add the thawed beans to the saucepan and sauté for a few minutes (3–5).
Step 5
Add water to the beans and simmer covered for 3–5 minutes.
Step 6
Add the sauce to the beans and simmer for another 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 7
Sprinkle sesame seeds on top before serving.
