Beans and peas with smoked bacon and mint
Ingredients
- Chinese green beans 5 oz
- Shallot 1 piece
- Semi-Smoked Sausage 5 oz
- Green Peas 5 oz
- Mint Leaves 1 bunch
- Meyer Lemon Juice 0 fl oz
- Olive Oil to taste
- White bread to taste
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Finely chop the onion. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté the onion for 2–3 minutes until softened.
Step 2
Add the finely chopped bacon and cook for another minute.
Step 3
Add the peas, beans, chopped mint, a bit more oil, and lemon juice.
Step 4
Season to taste and serve with slices of bread.
