Basic Chocolate Sauce
Sauces and Marinades • French
Description
Spicy notes such as cinnamon, vanilla, anise, and pepper complement chocolate sauce well, but it is very important to use spices carefully so they don't overpower the aroma of the chocolate. You can crush nuts into the chocolate or add ready-made praline. It's quite easy to give the sauce a jasmine aroma, which also suits it well: simply brew jasmine tea in cream or water and use it as an ingredient.
