Description
Basically, all the same familiar ingredients that we find in pancakes, but with a couple of bananas added. The bananas are needed for texture and aroma, so try to find the perfect banana—not green and not overripe.
Ingredients
- Milk 5 fl oz
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Butter 0 oz
- Vanilla extract 1 tablespoon
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Brown Sugar 0 oz
- Baking Powder 1 tablespoon
- Salt ½ spoons
- Bananas 2 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Melt the butter.
Step 2
Combine the butter with the milk, egg, and vanilla extract.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Step 4
In a separate bowl, mash the bananas with a fork until they reach a puree-like consistency.
Step 5
Combine the banana puree with the dry and wet mixtures. Stir until the batter is smooth.
Step 6
Preheat a non-stick skillet. Pour some of the batter into the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes, until bubbles form on the surface of the batter.
Step 7
Flip the pancake to the other side and fry for another 1–2 minutes. Repeat with the remaining batter.
