Description

Baked Vanilla Cheese Pancakes with Chocolate Sauce

Ingredients

  • Semi-soft cream cheese 10 oz
  • White Beans 1 piece
  • Raw cane sugar 2 tablespoons
  • Chocolate eggs 2 pieces
  • Wheat Flour 2 tablespoons
  • Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
  • Chocolate to taste
  • Desiccated coconut 4 tablespoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Scrape the vanilla bean and mix its contents with the cottage cheese in a bowl. You can substitute the vanilla bean with 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract. Then add sugar, flour, eggs, and mix everything well by hand, shaping the pancakes to be about 1 cm thick and of medium diameter.

Step 2

Grease a baking sheet with olive oil and bake the pancakes at 390°F for 10–15 minutes. It's better to flip them halfway through baking. You can fry them in a pan, but they will be more tender if baked.

Step 3

For the chocolate sauce, melt dark chocolate (200 grams) in a water bath or use a ready-made spread (like Nutella).

Step 4

Before serving, place the pancakes on plates, drizzle with chocolate sauce or place the sauce alongside the pancakes, and sprinkle with shredded coconut.
