Baked Turnips with Thyme
Ingredients
- Turnip 20 oz
- Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
- Balsamic Vinegar 1 tablespoon
- Dried thyme ½ teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Chopped Parsley 1 tablespoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel the turnips, cut them into small pieces, and place them in a bowl. Combine the oil, vinegar, thyme, salt, and pepper. Drizzle the mixture over the vegetables and mix well.
Step 2
Grease a baking sheet with oil and arrange the turnips in a single layer. Bake at 445°F (450 degrees Fahrenheit) for 25 minutes. Then, turn the pieces of turnip over and bake for another 10 minutes. The turnips should soften and brown.
Step 3
Before serving, season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with finely chopped parsley.
