Description
Serve as an appetizer or side dish. It also pairs wonderfully with toasted bread. You can blend it and serve as a sauce for fish or poultry.
Ingredients
- Orange Bell Peppers 0 lbs
- Garlic 4 cloves
- Lemon 1 piece
- Apple Cider Vinegar 1 tablespoon
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Sugar 1 tablespoon
- Herbes de Provence 1 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
- Olive Oil 3 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Wash and dry the peppers, place them on a baking sheet with the stems intact, drizzle with a little olive oil, and send them to a preheated oven at 355°F. Bake until they are slightly charred for 40–50 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
Step 2
Peel the peppers from the outer skin and seeds, cut them into strips, crush the garlic, add lemon juice, vinegar, herbs, sugar, salt (can be replaced with soy sauce), and pepper.
Step 3
Let it sit for a couple of hours.
